How to submit an item?

To post an item you need to point your mouse to the Submit Item link as shown below

Once on the submit item page you need to fill in the mandatory fields, they are

• Item Name
• Item Description
• Item URL (though not required but highly recommended)
• Category (if your item does not fit in any of the categories, put it in Miscellaneous > Others)
• Finally, don't forget to select a rating for your item (Like/Hate)

Below is an example

Once you are done filling the information, click the "Post Item" button, this will send the details to the server.
Now there may be two cases

• Your item may be unique in which case the item will be posted and you will be taken to the item page, that example is shown in the last screenie
• However, your item may be related to an already existing item and in most cases it may be the same item, in which case the system will show the related items, now if your item is same as these items, then simply like / hate the item to avoid duplicacy. But, if your item is not matching with any of those displayed, then click on "New Post" button this will force the system to post your item and you will be taken to the item page after it is posted.

Once your item is successfully posted, you will be taken to the item page as shown below, that's it your item is posted.
Tip: It's a good idea to send your item to your friends via email, so that they can have a look at it.
