The episode gets a bit convoluted, although it becomes pretty clear about halfway through just what is what and who is who. The episode gets a bit convoluted, although it becomes pretty clear about halfway through just what is what and who is who. Angie Harmon continues to carry this lightweight crime series, riffing on the "Crossing Jordan" title character played by lookalike model/actress and fellow L&O alumna, Jill Hennessey. Harmon is a pleasure to watch in action, and even gets to smack around and yell at a suspect in this episode. It appears the writers were influenced by the Scott Peterson case, where a woman carrying a 9-month fetus went missing. Only the ending here isn't as tragic.
