I remember seeing this film on TV when I was a kid. The scene where Harmon drinks blood from a camel's neck has stuck in my mind ever since. Now as an adult and a huge fan of Italian action, this is how I describe the film. Excellent action film from Italy features plenty of trademark Enzo G. Castellari slow motion and shootout scenes, yet has its share of meaningful overtones and messages. Not more

I remember seeing this film on TV when I was a kid. The scene where Harmon drinks blood from a camel's neck has stuck in my mind ever since. Now as an adult and a huge fan of Italian action, this is how I describe the film. Excellent action film from Italy features plenty of trademark Enzo G. Castellari slow motion and shootout scenes, yet has its share of meaningful overtones and messages. Notorious for making his films far overbudget, Castellari failed to recoup from his losses on this film and his career slowly faltered afterward. Don't get me wrong, it's a very good action film, but the location filming and knock-em-out action scenes probably were far too expensive for Castellari's cheapo Italian producers to handle. There is one hilariously cheap effect used, when a leopard is shot in the head. In place of a real leopard they opted to use a stuffed animal which barely looked like a leopard at all! Well, the effect was nice and gory, just hilariously fake all the same. Watch for a cameo appearance by Castellari as a prison guard who gets his kicks out of beating prisoners with his fists. Another awesome scene has Harmon single-handedly wiping out an entire fortress full of bad guys. Great film! 9/10!
