The Spanish Cape Mystery (1935)initiated by navjeet on September 17, 2008 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0027028/) Leading man Cook doesn't have the charisma needed to elevate this tale above the level it attains. He's fine in the role, but nothing special. The mystery is okay, with lots of characters running around who could have "done it." All in all, it's satisfying if you like these unpretentious mystery movies from the 30's and 40's. |
