The Pretender 2001 (2001)initiated by celine on September 06, 2008 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0271732/) I love this film, it starts off where we ended at the series. I just saw this film last night, the series ended a few years ago... I've waited kinda long :) it was worth waiting for though.Michael T Weiss does some great acting again! that counts for Andrea and the rest as well by the way.this film gives us some new information, though I already knew what Jarod was about to say, I knew what the vision meant, I knew a lot already. if ya know Jarod and the rest of the characters, this is a very predictable film. still it is very great to watch it!I missed his father, young Jarod and his girlfriend though... I think they should have been in it too. now they leave me a lot of questions.Lyle again gives ya the kreeps... very good :) Broots makes ya laugh again Some deaths come to live, some living brings along some surprises too.at the end of the film you get a surprise that I never thought to find out... maybe I more like, didn't WANT to find out hahaha.Jarod makes me cry again, I am a bit too far off when I watch this kinda things. when he find his friend back (who turned out to be his "centre friend"), it is very cool to see those flashbacks, though it predicts some things in the rest of the film. I hate what happens to Eddie, I hate it that it happens so often in the series too.what I also missed in this film were the flashbacks of his brother Kyle. I really though Jarod would talk about him to his brother Eithan.really, if you haven't seen this film yet, you have to try to get crib to this film, if you loved the series anyway. it is a great film! and I am glad that I watched it :D |
