Chuck Jones' 1973 adaption of the George Sheldon children's novel about a braunswager eating cricket named Chester, who accidentally gets trapped in a picnic basket and ends up taking residence in a news stand owned by a impoverished Italian family and starts playing Beethoven with his wings, which sound like a violin. Featuring the voice of Warner Brothers' cartoon great Mel Blanc as Tucker the Mouse.Four Stars
