Cindy is unaware that it is Marcia's diary. When Marcia discovers that her diary is gone, she accuses the other kids of taking it. First, she accuses Jan-but Jan is not the least bit interested in Marcia's personal secrets. She is too consumed with how her hair looks for that.Then Marcia accuses the boys of taking it. However, they are too much involved in fitness to be reading a diary(They are lifting weights)and Bobby asked "What is a Diary?" Peter gives the answer because after all, inquiring minds wants to know! When Cindy tells her that she gave it to the man who picked up the books, Marcia gets real mad at Cindy.
