I was surprised to see this movie presented on IMDb, but pleasantly so. My thoughts on the movie, for obvious reasons you will read later, are that it is spectacular and a must see for anyone the least bit unclear on what happened during Iwo Jima, and those days in general. My grandfather is one of the 'cast'/'remaining survivors'presented in the film- William D. Nicholas. I understand he is not really an actor, and is indeed much more that that (getting shot twice in enemy territory is a bit rougher), but I was disappointed to see that the IMDb website did not mention his, along with all the other surviving veteran's names, on their 'cast call'.
