The Blood We Cry (2005)initiated by priya on September 05, 2008 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0481336/) I watched this guys first film on a boxed set, everlasting evils, it's called the innocent, and is pretty funky stuff! But this short film.... rocks harder! Really great visuals, awesome fight scene, and where the other film let itself down, this film succeeds amazingly! Shot on DV it looks great, no technical issues whatsoever. The story fluid and gripping, acting sharp, cool music too! Where is this guys next feature?! I'm guessing he had a fair budget for this, cos you can see it all up on screen! Really powerful stuff, even got me thinking about the issues for once! He's got to do another horror! Anyone else watching out for this guys work, should check out the innocent film, some shots really show his style develop. This was shown on TV, his first released on DVD, the next has to be the cinema surely? If I had some money I'd invest! :) |
