I'm not sure why people keep mentioning the Holocaust in the IMDb's User Comments with regard to this film. Since we had 60,000,000 (sixty million) deaths in WWII it was refreshing for a documentary to point out that the camp (KZ) had mainly non-Jews until almost the end of WWII in Europe. I don't know how many Jews were murdered by the Nazis and their friends but whatever the figure this film isn't about them, it's about EVERYONE at and around the camp. Let's not have another Jewish historical land grab.On the documentary (watched on UK TV) I found it to be an excellent insight into the people of the village and how they felt and feel. It was interesting to see those young men choosing to work in the camp rather than having to serve in the Austrian army. They seemed very intelligent.I always try not to point fingers too much at bystanders in the Nazi mass murder because I'm sure if we had out own villages taken over by Nazis there would be very little one could do. War is such a terrible mess and we learn very little from it apart from better ways of killing more people, quicker. So, 'KZ' was very worthwhile and highly recommended.
