The League, starting with Lee Sharpe's on form goal scoring and corner flag antic's (which angers Fergie) to a unforgettable encounter on a cold January night at Anfield to arch rivals Liverpool. An embarrassing turn around at home to Turkish side Galatasaray in which they blow a comfortable lead and get knocked out in the Champions League! Their Treble dreams are ended by Aston Villa in the League Cup final and all of a sudden in the mid to close of the season, things are turning wrong for the Red Devils. A frustrating 1-0 down match against Oldham in the FA Cup semi final is taking it's tole only for a last gasp equalizer by Mark "Sparky" Hughes in stoppage brings hope which shows how much of a legend he is for the club.They finally beat Blackburn for the Championship in a title decider match in which Coventry beat Rovers for a shock result. Last but not least was the FA Cup final against Chelsea in which Eric Cantona scored perhaps the coolest penalty ever seen in Wembley to clinch the double. A great watch and recommended for United fans!
