The Sony Ericsson K510i is an excellent value phone that gives you a lot for your money.
Starting with imaging features, the K510i has an excellent 1.3 megapixel camera and a video camera, although unfortunately there's no flash and the screen resolution is too low to do the pictures real justice. Still, you can transfer pics to a computer to appreciate just how good the camera is.
The music player supports MP3 and AAC formats and is of excellent quality. The only disappointment is that the memory is enough for only a dozen or so songs. However, for the money you won't find any competitor offering a memory card. If you want to use your phone as an iPod replacement, spend some more cash and get a Sony Ericsson W700i, or if money is tight perhaps a Samsung E370 or a Motorola SLVR.
Other features available on the K510i include a polyphonic ringtone editor, sound recorder, speakerphone, email, changeable covers and 3D Java games. Connectivity is excellent, with support for Bluetooth, USB and Infrared as well as the new Fast Port connection. It's a very lightweight and compact phone that packs an awful lot in and has no real faults. A highly recommended mid-range phone, now replaced by the even better K550i.
