iPhone combines three products - a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching - into one small and lightweight handheld device. iPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. So it ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone

Looks great but I would still bet on a Windows Mobile PocketPC Phone.
Definitely would maintain the quality and simplicity although this is the first time that Apple would be launching (a) GSM device (b) Mac OS based Mobile
It would be wrong to expect wonders outta it. Its gonna be very pricy initially although Apple says a 4GB model would be $499 which is crap. No way would it be priced anything below 40k-50k. Considering an ipod priced at $49 in the us (Rs.2200) costs almost Rs.4500 here in India!
Battery backup is crap (5hrs talk time) which leaves u thinking how much will it give on listening to music! and ofcourse it is missin an FM tuner - so what we gotta buy an iTrip for this phone as well or what????
M happy with my IPOD Nano and my O2 Atom! Buy i am eagerly waiting for Iphone since it boosts a multi-touch sense screen which is like a utopian's dream for PDA users like me.
Wishing Apple all the very best :)
